High-technology classrooms and computing labs form the basis for ideal learning environments at UMKC.

    UMKC hosts several online course management solutions to make it easier to communicate and to share digital content with your students.

    • SharePoint is a web based collaboration tool used to share information with others, manage documents, and reduce email clutter.

    Add interactivity to your classroom with . With the receiver and response pads, you can give short quizzes, take attendance, play learning games, instantly assess students' comprehension of your lecture, and more.

  • Computer Labs
    Numerous general use and discipline specific computer labs are available to students across campus.
    • General Use Labs serve the commonest computing needs of all students. They operate all week during a regular semester and on a more limited schedule between semesters. The Labs FAQ answers common questions about usage guidelines and print quotas.
    • Remote Labs is an online service that provides 24x7 access to much of the software available in the general use computing labs.
    • Specialized Labs serve the unique computing needs of individual schools and departments. You can contact these areas directly for more information about hardware/software availability.
